Solar Panels

Solar systems designed around your roof and energy use.

The right solar system depends on more than panel wattage. Roof geometry, shading, module dimensions, inverter design, electrical connection, battery plans and future household demand all affect the final configuration.

Assessment Factors

What affects your solar system

Each LUMIXIS solar project begins with a detailed property assessment. These are the factors that determine the right configuration for your home.

Usable roof area and orientation
Panel shading throughout the day
Roof covering and structure type
Module efficiency and aesthetics
Inverter and battery compatibility
Electrical phase and connection
Annual household electricity demand
Future heat pump or EV load
Grid connection requirements
DNO process and export limit

Delivery Options

Two delivery pathways

Whether you want a fully managed supply-and-install or need an installer for equipment you have already sourced, LUMIXIS accommodates both routes.

Option A
LUMIXIS-Supplied Equipment
  • Equipment sourced and quality-checked by LUMIXIS
  • Single point of responsibility for supply and installation
  • Coordinated warranty and aftercare
  • Inverter and battery compatibility confirmed at design stage
  • Pricing includes equipment, delivery and installation
Option B
Customer-Supplied Equipment
  • You source and purchase the panels and inverter directly
  • LUMIXIS reviews equipment for compatibility before commitment
  • Installation and commissioning quoted separately
  • Warranty responsibility remains with the equipment supplier
  • Subject to system design confirmation and site suitability
How It Works

Your solar project process

From the first enquiry to handover, each stage is managed by a single LUMIXIS team. No handoffs between separate contractors.

01
Initial enquiry
Tell us about your property, energy use and goals. We confirm whether a project is feasible and what the next steps look like.
02
Property assessment
A detailed survey of your roof, shading, electrical installation and consumption. Remote assessment available in most cases before a site visit.
03
System design
Panel layout, string configuration, inverter selection, battery provision and export management designed to your property and demand profile.
04
Equipment selection and quote
Recommended panel and inverter models presented alongside indicative pricing. Customer-supplied equipment reviewed at this stage.
05
Installation
Roof mounting, electrical integration, metering, and any necessary DNO applications managed by the LUMIXIS installation team.
06
Commissioning and handover
System tested, monitoring configured, documentation provided. Walkthrough with the installation team before sign-off.
